What We Do

PEER engages educators, families, students, and the community with researchers to examine long-standing problems, understand their complexities, and help district and community leaders make equity-centered decisions at the school and district levels.

Who We Are

The Nashville Partnership for Educational Equity Research (PEER) is a collaboration between Metro Nashville Public Schools and Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development. The partnership pursues equity-driven research to guide public education policy and practice, disrupt educational inequities, and enable every student to thrive.
