As a member of MNPS’s department of Research, Assessment, and Evaluation, Peter serves as the data liaison for PEER, assisting researchers in identifying data, preparing custom datasets, and supporting data interpretation. Peter has a Master of Science in Data Science from Vanderbilt University as well as a Master of Education from Tennessee State University. He spent 8 years in the elementary classroom as an exceptional educator with Dickson Public Schools and Metro Nashville Public Schools. His background in Data Science has provided him with a strong foundation in data analysis and his teaching experience has given him the ability to effectively communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
